The first video was filmed in Japan. A new powerlifting bench press record was set by a lifter. His lift was around 585lb/256.5kg on the Bench. The funny part was, he was doing it for 2 inches. They gave 3 green lights and it counted as a new record, leaving many viewers impressed.

Another powerlifter called Andrey Malanichev at 1:30 had the bar fallen on his chest while bench pressing. He is okay and fully recovered.

    1:56 that can happen with a regular grip when you bend your wrist forward. Fingers arent meant to hold that much weight. Always keep your wrist straight but more importantly use the fucking safety pins they're there for a reason...

    sean noriega is a strong guy but he also benches with a 2 inch range of motion. i would like to see his real bench press numbers without "lumbar assistance"

    That arch back bench press should be labeled away from regular bench since they found a way to cheat on touching the chest and pushing up. It is fucking dumb!
